I am running the Virgin London Marathon for The British Lung Foundation with all money collected going toward  specific research into  Pulmonary Fibrosis a scarring and hardening of the  lungs.  This is one of the lesser known lung conditions and there is still much to be learnt about the condition.  In the last two years I have lost two friends to the same condition, Mr David Evans father of one of my oldest friends Amanda and Alan Whitehurst father of Karen Desborough. Both men were taken from us far too early and we miss them a great deal.

I am running in a team of ten organised by Amanda and I am training hard but I assure you this is my one and only marathon and the only time I will come to you for such sponsorship,  so give me a lifetimes worth of kindness please :-)
