I am raising money for the Rowan's Hospice.  They are a local charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. 

Earlier this year, a very close friend of our family lost her battle with cancer.  Rowan's offered her, and her family support and resources at a time that they needed it most.  The Moonlight Walk is a 12 mile walk around the historic Portsmouth Dockyard and I am hoping that through your sponsorship I can raise £500.  This is my way of saying thank you for the care that they gave to Fiona and hope that the money that I raise will help other who find themselves in a similar position.
