Story

We would like to invite you, your family, friends and colleagues to join our team on Sunday 26th April to help raise vital funds for Wintercomfort. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in fundraising income. In response, the organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events across the country have come together to create a new campaign to raise funds to help to save the UKs charities. The 2.6 Challenge will launch on Sunday 26th April what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon, the worlds biggest one-day annual fundraising event. People of all ages and abilities across the country will be taking part in activities based around the numbers 2.6 and 26. This could be anything from walking 2.6km, knitting a 2.6 metre scarf, juggling for 2.6 minutes, or baking 26 cakes - the ideas and options are endless!
