Anyone that was lucky enough to know Richard Tracey will know why this is such a worthwhile cause. Richard bravely fought but lost his fight against cancer a few months ago but his memory lives on through his family and Richards Army.

Richard and his family helped raise money for my Mum who sadly passed of cancer when I was a young boy and I have never forgotten how much they did for us. This is my chance to give something back.

My fundraiser starts in the town of Lynmouth. I will be leaving there in the early hours of Friday 27th August and I will be running the 140 miles (non stop) back to Hungerford, aiming to arrive at Hungerford Football club by early evening on Saturday 28th August where we will be holding a charity fundraising event with an auction and raffle in memory of Richard  (look out for the Facebook event page).

Richard spent his last days being cared for by Prospect Hospice who I know were a great help and comfort to Richards family. All money raised and gratefully received will be donated to this amazing charity.
