Richard was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His caring approach to life left a positive impact on many. He was taken from us far too soon and suddenly. We will miss him dearly. 

Coronary heart disease remains one of the biggest killers in Scotland, and there are over 3000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests every year. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland helps people access care, support and rehabilitation services that would help them lead healthier lives. 

What we are going through is a nightmare come to life. We do not know what our lives will look like without Richard, but the support we have received from our friends, family and wider community has been unbelievable.
