Today, NHS Workers need your help
The headline of almost every news story today is about the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for NHS workers on the front line of treating Covid-19 patients. But, we can all do something about it!
I am part of a national movement of 100s (probably 1000s) of 3D printer owners who are producing face masks and other equipment for local healthcare workers.
So far, I have printed over 150 straps to make face masks more comfortable when worn for long periods of time. I now want to make some visors which are worn over the whole face for extra protection (similar to the one shown in the picture)
It would be great to get a little help with the cost of materials, I don't need a lot but this is a way you can all help with this national effort.
Let's all make a difference and help the NHS!
PS: Money given will be handled by Rothwell Baptist Church which will make sure that any money given that I don't need gets to other charities providing PPE to the NHS.
