Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I learnt to swim at Arnold 'Baths' (Nottinghamshire) during 1964 and got my 25 yards certificate in 1965!  Swimming has been part of my life since then and when I heard of this event I knew I had to take part.

To swim a mile outdoors in Lake Windermere will be a challenge ... but it's great to be part of this event and to raise money for the Forget Me Not Trust (see opposite), a charity that provides tremendous support to children with life limiting conditions and to their families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
