So, I wrote a song for The Children’s Bereavement Centre last year after seeing the amazing work they do supporting children who have lost a loved one. I volunteered to attend the annual summer camp, and really enjoyed taking part in all the great activities that the centre organise to help children as a group with their bereavement. It was emotional to say the least. But it wasn’t until I got back home that I realised just how much the experience had left me feeling touched by the work that goes on at the camp. I must have absorbed all the emotions during the two days there, and on arriving home I just kind of found myself picking up my guitar and writing a song. And so I thought I would share it with you all, and ask that if you like the song that you might be kind enough to donate a little money to help the Children’s Bereavement Centre do what they do best. They really do provide a very important service to the community, it is a charity with a huge heart, and many children benefit from the superb work they do. So, if you do like the song, I would be so grateful to the super-human being that you are, if you would donate a little to the charity. The money goes direct to the CBC.
