I wasn't going to do the SSF Triathlon this year but after hearing about Michael Keenens inspirational story I decided to dust off the bike and get the trainers out for another bash. The event is superb and generates fantastic camaraderie between all the staff and the suppliers that take part. I've decided to step it up for 2019 and tackle the new 'Challenger' course that involves a 1km swim, 32km cycle and a 7.5km run. So personally quite a tough event for an owd fella like me.
