Story

The bicycle has many different uses in many different settings. I want to draw your attention to an innovative bicycle ambulance system for patients in need of urgent care, operating in Zambia. Between April and October 2020, in rural Zambia, 1,241 children were transported by bicycle ambulance to a healthcare facility for potentially life-saving treatment. The bikes are put together in Zambia. Your donation will help Transaid fund further development and deliver more services.
