We have our first trishaw and we think it's amazing. Over the years we know that it will become a lifeline to so many people in Oxfordshire who may be at risk of social isolation. Having 3 bikes by the end of 2020 will help us help more local people.

Story

John Mackenzie, our dad and grandad, died on Thursday 23rd July 2020.

To honour his life, we are raising money for Cycling Without Age Oxfordshire so that they can help more people struggling from social isolation here in his home county.

Dad was known and loved by many as a local market trader and nurseryman.

He'll be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Cycling Without Age Oxfordshire is a local charity that takes older and vulnerable people at risk of social isolation out on bike rides on specially built trishaws. They already have their first bike but are raising funds for another two so that they can help thousands more Oxfordshire residents in the years to come.

About the campaign

We have our first trishaw and we think it's amazing. Over the years we know that it will become a lifeline to so many people in Oxfordshire who may be at risk of social isolation. Having 3 bikes by the end of 2020 will help us help more local people.

About the charity

Nothing beats witnessing the joy of the elderly and our volunteers enjoying a ride together on one of our custom-built trishaws. Our aim is for our passengers and team to come back from rides together having had the wind in their hair, rosy cheeks, and, most of all, full of stories and smiles.
