Story

Thanks for visiting this page in memory of Chris Adams.

Chris was a much loved husband, father, papa and friend.

Chris had a lot of interests and one of these was climbing.

He fell whilst climbing at Stanage with his son Stuart in 1989 when his rope snapped. The 40ft drop left him unconscious with a few broken bones.

Fortunately, a member of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team (who was also a doctor) was driving past and came to the rescue.

Chris and family have remained grateful to this committed community of volunteers ever since and would like to help support the great work they do.
