Story
We hope to continue that by getting her name on a room door at the Ronald McDonald House in Central Ohio. Those rooms bring comfort, piece of mind and joy to families needing to stay there as their child receives care.
Our family stayed at the RMH for a year while Rose was in the only BPD(Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia) NICU in the world. We would not have been able to get her the care she needed if we didn’t have a place to stay.
Not only was it a place to stay, it was a place to rest knowing I was a short walk away from Rose. I was able to park my car safely and not worry about hospital parking garages. I had access to breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with snacks. I was able to wash mine and Rose’s clothes (babies generate a lot of laundry). Even with all that support I did not have to worry about paying anything for my stay.
The money that we are raising will not only get Rose’s name on a door, it will help other families like ours that need a place to stay during a difficult time in their lives.
