This week is Refugee Week.

Every day, 37,000 people worldwide are forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution. Here at Refugee Women Connect, we work to support refugees, asylum seekers, and survivors of human trafficking. We work together to build a safe life in the UK for all women in the refugee and asylum seeker community. The COVID-19 pandemic has been incredibly hard for the refugee community, not just in terms of health and welfare but also education provision for children and access to essential living items. We have also seen a spike in women who need to access our mental health support services during this incredibly difficult time.
