Hi, my name is Rebecca I am sixteen years old, and I suffer with a condition called PoTS, which is a debilitating condition that affects me on a daily basis. I have had PoTS for two years and it affects me in many ways. The denominating factor is fainting, which can sometimes happen up to fifteen times a day. This is closely pursued by migraines and a total lack of energy which forces me to literally sleep on the spot, whether this be in the middle of my school corridor, middle of a family dinner, parties, or in a history lesson (but that is justified!) Over the last two years I have had many tests and procedures completed and these are still on going, with new research that creates better medication with less side effects. I am currently taking twenty-three tablets a day, which have improved my symptoms, but I still suffer on a daily basis. All donations will be going to PoTS UK, to raise awareness and boost their research into this condition.
