I am competing in Tough Mann 2015 as both a physical challenge and to raise money for charity.

The Isle of Man Hospice was founded in 1983 by my grandfather Peter Vickers and family friend Nadene Crowther.

The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for patients and their families facing life limiting illness. The care includes physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects and is provided by a multidisciplinary team free of charge. 

I have experienced first hand what the Hospice can do, and their care and support has been overwhelming during extremely difficult times.

I am competing in this event in memory of Peter Vickers and Patricia Harvey.
