I have been utterly overwhelmed by such outpourings of love for my wonderful mum, Rebecca. 

She was my absolute favourite person on the planet and to hear the ripple effect of joy she spread has been a tremendous comfort to me during this time. I thank every single person who loved, supported, cared for and laughed with her over the years. 

Your kind words, letters, cards and gestures have meant more to me than you could possibly know. She was nothing short of a super hero to me.

I am touched by how many dear friends have asked how they can contribute to a cause in mum's memory. Anyone that knew mum for more than 5 minutes could tell you that she adored animals and did as much as she could for as many fuzzies as possible. As such, she has named ARC Animal Rescue Centre as her chosen charity in her last will and testament. 

She would be delighted to see that she is still helping and spreading love in spirit, and I sincerely thank each and every person that messaged me (or Blythe) about making a contribution.

From here on in, I pledge to do my darnedest to live up to her marvellous memory, but boy do I have some shoes to fill.
