Story
On Sunday 23rd march my dad had a fall resulting in a severe brain injury. My dad was firstly taken to the major trauma ward at St Mary's hospital (paddington). On Tuesday 25th march my dad was put into a induce coma to let the brain rest and for the swelling to go down, he was in a coma for a month as well as being on life support in the intensive care unit. The swelling in his brain got so bad so they had no choice but to remove the front half of his skull. My dad was moved back to major trauma ward where a team of dedicated, hard working and amazing nurses/doctors took care of him. This team would constantly talk and ensure that my dad was comfortable even during his time in a coma which really meant the world to me and my family.
I want to do this jump as a massive thank you to the hospital for all the hard work they put in to help me and my family.
All of your donations will be going to the major trauma ward to help them buy new equipment and afford additional training which will hopefully change another families life like I they have done mine.
So please give a little as a little will go a long way.
