Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The children Project Gambia support in Africa are my priority 365 days a year. However, I’m going to be 60 on January 14th 2021. Not 50. I’ve not underwent an ‘age transition’ and I’m attempting to face up to reality. The passage of time and “time waits for no man” etc. That was just a load of baloney made up by me for attention. Anyhow, unless someone is thinking about gifting me a month in New York - so I can trawl my way around landmarks associated with the greatest film of all time, Once Upon A Time in America, or a month in South America, both of which I’d gladly accept - I’m doing one of those birthday fundraising things and, of course, I’m trying to raise money for my beloved Project Gambia.

Hand on heart I’d be shocked and thrilled in equal measure if I managed to raise anything but things have been especially difficult for us this past 10 months with the coronavirus pandemic and to support these kids is my 60th Birthday Fundraising Goal. 🇬🇲🙏
