Story
In 2024 I’m running the London Marathon!! 🏃🏻♀️
Let me tell you a little about why…
My Dad died suddenly of a heart attack in June 2012, at the age of 61. I had just had my first born Erin, 5 months before, and my world was turned upside down. It came completely out of the blue, and hit me and my family hard. It still upsets me that I didn’t get a photo of my Dad with Erin, and that Harrison has never met him 💔 I would do anything to help other people not have to suffer the same way.
We talk in the family about my Dad all the time… both my children know a lot about him, and they always look out for the white feathers and Robins in our garden, just to know he is close. Life is so short, and so very precious, that is why I am delighted to be helping a charity dear to me.
I have watched the London Marathon for years, and always been in awe of the runners and the incredible atmosphere on the day. I have decided to FINALLY cross it off my bucket list this year… the year I turn 4️⃣0️⃣!!
Please help me, if possible, by supporting this great charity with any contribution you can. If you are unable to make a financial contribution I would really appreciate your support by cheering me on when I’m training and running the marathon… Give me a beep of your horn or wave from your window, it will mean a lot! ❤️
I really hope I make you proud Dad… I’ll be looking out for a sign to show me you are cheering me on 💫
