Story
Marhum Raza Fazal was an incredible man who spent his life helping people. A year after two of his younger brothers passed away, Raza Fazal has also left this world, leaving behind a legacy of charitable work.
He set up a charity in Bukoba (a small town in Tanzania, which is where his father hailed from). The charity, IZAAS, focussed on helping people with medical needs. Be it limb surgery, or eye care or even something else more specific, IZAAS was there to help the local and wider community. Raza even ensured the marginalised Albino community was well looked after and would instil the integrity they deserved.
In memory of his noble life, we are looking to raise £2,500 to help 30 locals in the town of Mbeya (Tanzania) get the treatment they need, by way of cataract operations. The Who is Hussain Foundation are conducting these operations through their team on the ground, after having already carried out 30 successful operations in early 2022. Any donations above the original £2,500 target will go towards other efforts as part of the Fresh Start Project.
We pray the marhum is blessed in the hereafter and raised in the highest levels of heaven in the company of the Ahlulbayt(a). Please recite al-fateha for his soul.
