As we are fortunate enough to have all the household items we need, we've decided to set up a number of charity gift lists. If you would like to give a gift then please do donate to one or all of the charities below; it's a great way for our wedding to help those who are less fortunate than us.

Our chosen charities are WaterAid, The Donkey Sanctuary and the Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

The Bath Cats & Dogs Home is one of the largest animal re-homing centres in the UK; it cares for over 350 animals (dogs, cats and small animals) at any one time at a cost of over £3,000 a day. It prides itself on its strict non-destruction policy and it aims to find every single animal a loving home, no matter how long this may take. The charity receives no government, lottery or RSPCA funding and therefore its £1.2 million annual running costs are funded entirely by voluntary donations.

The Shute family has long been a lover of cats and since we adopted Vera in 2008, Ray has started to give in and become one too! Vera follows in the footsteps of Topsy and Tim in becoming a beloved and valued pet that provides a huge amount of fun and company. In recognition of this we would like to support an organisation that helps pets which have fallen on hard times.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
