Rosemary - Defibrillator Appeal

Fundraising for Age Concern Hampshire
£426
raised of £1,000 target
In memory of Rosemary Russell
We are raising funds to purchase life saving Defibrillation equipment for our services to prevent possible unnesseccary fatalities if a cardiac arrest was to occur.

Story

Help us raise funds for our 'Defibrillator Appeal' to allow us to purchase life saving Defibrillators for all of our services. This is imperative as it has been proven that incidence of cardiac arrest dramatically increases with age. Rest assured our staff are CPR trained although research suggests that 'one-shock defibrillation' can extend the CPR time compared to continuous defibrillation. Without immediate treatment, 90-95 per cent of cardiac arrests prove fatal therefore we are doing all we can to equip our teams with this life saving equipment. Unfortunately, this kit is not cheap - we are looking to raise £9,500 to purchase 8 Automatic Defibrillators certified by British Heart Foundation. Your support by spreading the word or making a donation really will make all the difference.
