Story
In August 2014, our son, Aiden, was diagnosed with a rare, large and aggressive type of brain tumour.
In the first week he received life saving emergency surgery, and spent a week in children's intensive care in QMC, Nottingham. His condition was critical and we were told to call our family in.
But he got through it.
Then he started an equally aggressive treatment protocol. This will last over 1 year and includes chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
There are lots of ups and downs. But he's making progress and his spirit is incredible.
In February we'll celebrate his 3rd birthday. A gift. We live for moments together of laughter and love. And cheesecake.
So, on Feb 24, I'm joining him by shaving my head. Aiden lost most of his hair months ago from chemo. (I'll post updated pictures once done).
And in a small way to thank the amazing team at Children's Brain Tumour Research and QMC for the tireless and pioneering work they do.
Any support you can give is HUGELY appreciated.

PS. For every £1 you put in, I'll match your donation, up to £1000 on Feb 24 (done on Feb 22). This research matters!
