People across Leicestershire are observing the holy Muslim month of Ramadan. Of these people and the wider community, children will be spending this time in Leicester's various hospital wards. This year, we are fundraising for these very children to have gifts on the blessed day of Eid, insh'Allah.

The station, which broadcasts across the county over the holy period, have thrown their support behind the Leicester Childrens Hospital Appeal over the years already, and are encouraging their thousands of listeners to consider supporting to the appeal for Eid gifts for wards both during Ramadan and beyond.

This project will break barriers between communities, create the love and happiness that is needed at such testing times for families suffering with their childrens health over the course of Ramadan 2022.
