We are fundraising for Tree of Hope to raise money for Ruby to get a new state of the art eye gaze communication device.

Ruby is 12 years old and has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She cannot walk or talk and needs full time help. However she is bright, cute and extremely cheeky! She would love to be able to get a new eye gaze communication device that could be mounted on to her wheelchair which would mean that she could 'chat' to all her friends in the playground and have a way of communicating at school.

The computer is an amazing piece of equipment that would allow Ruby's eyes to act as the mouse to operate it and would mean that she could communicate freely and in time be able to operate many other things through the computer such as the TV, lights, music etc. The money will go towards purchasing the device and warranties along with mounting equipment, pc eye hardware, related software, school staff training and continued support from specialist speech and language therapists to ensure that she progresses with her use of the device. 

The funds will also be used to support her home care equipment.
