Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2016 I'll be taking on America's Tour Divide Mountain Bike Route.

The TD is a single stage, 2745 mile self supported race from Banff, Alberta in Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico in the USA.

"....this battle royale braves mountain passes and windswept valleys of the Continental Divide from hinterlands of the Canadian Rockies to the badlands of the Mexican Plateau."

What this doesn't mention is 200,000 feet of climb.... The equivalent of scaling Mount Everest nearly seven times.

Yes, it's a race: But there's no entry fee and no prize money.

I have chosen to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as I have experienced their hard work first hand.

I would also like to dedicate this fundraising adventure to those loved, lost and still fighting.

The event is still over a year away but research is being completed, miles are being ridden and memories made.

You can follow the journey here;

Thank you in advance for donating. Every penny makes a huge difference!
