Story
Hi Everyone,
I'm running a pub quiz on the 18th of January at the Ulster Sports Club in aid of TinyLife, I hope you all can make it.
30 years ago on the 20th of January 1990, I was born premature, weighing in at only 2lb 6oz. Unfortunately, a few days beforehand, my twin sister Claire had passed away and was stillborn along with me. TinyLife is a charity that is close to my heart, stillbirth and premature babies affect many families throughout Northern Ireland everyday and by supporting a charity like TinyLife you can help these families and tiny babies just like me. Anything you can donate, no matter how small will go a long way to helping families of premature babies.
Here's a little bit of information on TinyLife,
In Northern Ireland over 1800 babies are born too soon – this equates to 6 babies born too soon every day in NI. On average there are 2 stillbirths every week. TinyLife is committed to funding medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, providing information to health professionals and ensure families of premature babies receive the emotional and practical support they need. We have a team of 9 Family Support Officers who provide emotional and practical support to those families of premature babies, including Baby Massage groups, TinyGym (phsio for prem babies) and Positive Minds for Premature Parents.
Thank you so much for your donation.
