Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.I have taken on Befriend a Child's 5K a day for the month of May 2021 challenge in support of local children living in difficult life circumstances across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. 

I started volunteering for Befriend a Child earlier this year and can honestly say it is the most rewarding thing that I have ever done. The charity supports school-aged children and young people growing up in difficult life circumstances in and around Aberdeen. Befrienders meet their allocated child twice a month, for a few hours to talk, share and have fun. They aim to develop trust and introduce their child to new experiences, so they can explore what life has to offer and become more confident. 

Any donation no matter how small will go a long way and is very much appreciated ❤️
