Ty Olwen is a small hospice in the grounds of Morriston hospital, where Owain spent his final days. It was quiet and peaceful with excellent nursing staff right on hand. They gave us the space to spend time together without interruption but were there whenever we needed something. They made up a bed so that I could sleep right alongside Owain and be with him when he woke in the night and in his final hours. It gave us somewhere to be that was more personal and restful than the hospital but with the safety net of onsite medical attention.

During Owain's cancer treatment, he also recieved over 50 units of blood. If you are able, please also consider donating a unit of blood in his memory.
