Rachel's Abseil and 100km run challenge

Fundraising for National Literacy Trust
£1,365
raised of £700 target
Hachette UK is proud to fundraise for the National Literacy Trust. Our three-year partnership will create programmes that help children, young people, and adults in disadvantaged communities to develop life-changing literacy skills.

Story

I will be abseiling down the Orbit in London on 4th February in aid of the National Literacy Trust. If that doesn't seem enough of a challenge (even though it terrifies me lol), I will also be running 100km in a month (from 10th Jan-10th Feb).

The National Literacy Trust have launched a new reading programme, helping primary school children who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 to develop the literacy skills they need to catch up. The programme will support over 500 children from 25 primary schools around the UK but with your support, we can reach even more.

Hachette UK and its divisions are fundraising for the National Literacy Trust so we can create even more programmes that help children, young people, and adults in disadvantaged communities to develop life-changing literacy skills.
