Ok, so this year I've decided I'm going to go for gold and go all out to win the Run to the Beat half marathon!!

Well, ok I suppose I might be setting my sights a bit high there but I do want to set myself a challenge so i think I'll have to start with beating my time of 2hr 12 mins from last year.

I am running it this year for the charity I work for, Parentline Plus for three very good reasons:

- They help families across the country with all problems you can think of whether a child is being bullied at school or a single parent is feeling isolated and alone.

- They really need the funding in these uncertain funding times to ensure that families can continue to get the help and support they need.

-I want to raise awareness of the great work that they do and get more people fundraising for the charity in the future!
