Story
As most of you know we lost our lovely daughter Maddie last year. Rather than focus on the tragic circumstances surrounding her death, we prefer to embrace our wonderful memories of her and how she choose to live her her life. She was bright enthusiastic, compassionate and caring and this was evident in both her career and at home.
Maddie was passionate about creating opportunities for other young people, encouraging them to create a pathway to their future. Sadly her own future was cut short but please help us to keep her legacy alive by donating whatever you can to the Maddie Rose Campaign so that the Construction Youth Trust can continue to support, encourage and educate our younger generation.
Our lovely friend Ben will be throwing himself out of a plane ( hopefully with a parachute attached ) on Thursday 22nd September. This will be his first ( and possibly last ) jump and we wish him all the luck in the world for a safe landing.
Steve and I will be keeping our feet firmly on the ground and attempting to complete theYorkshire 3 Peak Challenge on Friday 7th October. I’ve been advised to leave my heels at home to complete the gruelling 24 mile, 1500m ascent in a day. Many of you will know we live in the Fens, which is completely flat, so training is proving to be a bit of a challenge.
Thank you for taking the time to read my essay and if you can spare a few pennies to help us reach our target, we would be immensely grateful. Xxx
