I have decided to run this 1/2 marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support. They are a fantastic charity who aims to ensure no one faces cancer alone. They are also trying to improve cancer care. 

Last year my mum was diagnosed with cancer and has fortunately made a full recovery - I want to help make a difference to people who are less fortunate and need more care and support from these wonderful nurses. 

I skate for the Liverpool Roller Birds and Macmillan are our partnership charity for this year so many of the girls are doing as much as they can to raise money for this excellent cause.
