Holy moley I'm going to be 50!!!  😁😝🥂🎂❤

I certainly don't feel it and those of you that know me well know that I rarely act it!

Lots of people asked what I would like and to be honest I have no idea.  The last year has taught me loads and one of those things is that things really don't matter that much.

There are so many charities that I admire but I chose MYTIME because I have such a huge appreciation for the work of Young Carers.  They are so many in the UK and this feels like a small way to celebrate them whilst celebrating my half century.

Ideally I would love to raise £500 as this will allow 20 of them to go on a Making Memories day here in Dorset, which, fingers crossed I will be able to volunteer and support on.  I honestly couldn't think of a better present.

MYTIME's mission is to provide young carers with the support, friendship and opportunities that every child deserves. Young carers are incredibly selfless, the love and compassion they show for their family is humbling. However being a young carer can lead to high levels of stress, worry and loneliness. Through their Making Memories programme and R&R Retreat Centre MYTIME give young carers the chance to take a much needed break from their caring responsibilities.
