Run DMD · 1 February 2016

We're here to bridge the gap between needing Mental Health support due to a devastating Duchenne diagnosis and accessing the NHS services families facing Duchenne need. Therapy empowers families to navigate the complexities of DMD with a greater sense of understanding and emotional well-being.

Story

My son Cormac has the life limiting condition Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I'm raising money to fund research and hopefully buy enough time to find a cure within his lifetime.

All funds raised will go to helping find a cure for the 1 in 5000 boys born with this condition that makes it the biggest genetic killer of boys in the world; it's probably the most common disorder you've never heard of.

During February my aim is to run a progressive amount each day - this could be in a single run, or the cumulation of multiple runs.

My challenge is to start at 5 mile's (for day's 1 to 5) then add a mile each day until the last 4 days are a marathon or more.

That's 445 miles in the month!!!

Thanks for stopping by.
