By year end 31 May 2023, we aim to raise £5,000 to support Bridge the Gap. With volunteers from each RSM region leading the fund-raising, we are calling upon Team Tax and our friends, family and networks to combine our two favourite things: Tax and helping out those who are struggling.

Bridge the Gap supports the tax charities, TaxAid and Tax Help for Older People. They work with those on low incomes when they get into difficulties with their tax affairs. They help people to understand the bits of the tax system that apply to them (safely ignoring the confusing 98% that doesn’t), pay the right amount of tax, and resolve crises when things go wrong. 

Both these charities provide advice free of charge, and demand for support is higher than ever.

Any amount is a huge help for these fantastic charities. Your donations can change lives:
•    £60 supports one client on the helpline.
•    £85 supports one client with a face-to-face appointment.
•    £100 enables the charities to provide tax assistance to five people who call their helplines.
•    £500 supports six people who require face-to-face support.
