“Bringing people together, inspiring each other, changing our community” Our campaign will be one to showcase community cohesion, to shine a positive light on our community and help vulnerable familes in our hometown For this year we will be collaborating with Foodbank, fundraising to help local families struggling with the rising cost of living. In these unprecedented times, first with a pandemic and now a war, the cost of living has become an issue that is ravaging through our society. Parents are under pressure to take on second jobs to make ends meet. They are forced to prioritise their children over their own needs. And its going to get worse this winter. Like last winter we expect families will be facing the difficult choice between food and heating. Luton Foodbank is an essential charity working at the street level helping those in financial crisis, making sure that no one goes hungry, giving extra support and information from their network of partners.
