A little about me, 40ish working mother of 3 great kids, married to great man, lives with two mad dogs.

Decided at the New Year to give myself a challenge and raise some money for a good cause. I have 6 months to get from couch potato to running wonder woman completing 5K Race for Life.

I have a great source of inspiration to get me over that finish line.

I’m dedicating my run to a good friend of mine called Marcia who has been fighting breast cancer for the past 2 years.

Marcia is an inspiration to all who know her, a strong independent woman who is kicking the butt of cancer every day, with humour and hard work.

Not forgetting my wonderful step father Tony who we lost suddenly  23 years ago at the age of 45..

I’d love all my friends to donate; even £1 will make a difference to help me reach my target of £200. I won’t let you down.

Crossing the line, and raising money will be our contribution to the ongoing fight to fund the research to find a cure to prevent future generations having to experience the fight Marcia has had to endure.
