I am currently in Yemen for the Qurbani project. Our team here have already sourced some good sized animals for Qurbani for £115 however the numbers are limited.

The following will be ensured:

1. I will personally oversee the Qurbani project in Yemen this year and help with the distribution of meat.

2. We will be selecting good size animals, not the smallest/cheapest available.

3. The animals are locally sourced, thus contributing to the local economy.

4. The meat will be distributed to some very needy families and communities, sometimes we have to travel quite far to do this, but that is very important for us.

5. The slaughter and distributions will be implemented over the days of Eid. Most will be done on the 2nd and 3rd days of Eid here to make sure it works with those in the UK celebrating Eid the day after.
