Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My lovely brother works for the Queen's Nursing Institute and I want to help support the wonderful work they do. Living in the Covid era has made us all acutely aware of the incredible work that healthcare professionsals undertake in the community. Supporting and developing our nurses has never been more important.
SO! As a pet portrait artist I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR PETS and how they have helped you through lockdown so you can WIN portraits of your beloved pets.
- First make a minimum £5 donation to QNI. If you want to remain anonymous on the page just put your pet's name.
- EMAIL ME at alimcquail@gmail.com with a photo your pet/s and tell me just how wonderful they are and how they have helped you survive lockdown life. Around 100 words is perfect
- Win a painted portrait of your pet (first prize), a pencil portrait of your pet (second prize) or a miniature portrait of your pet on a woodslice (3rd prize). A shortlist of the most amazing pets will be presented by me to QNI and the 3 winners will be chosen by a panel of staff and trustees.
You can see examples of my work on my website www.alimcquailportraits.co.uk, my Instagram account @alisonmcquail and my Facebook page Alison McQuail
If you win I will work closely with you to make sure you get the style of portrait you want. I have a bearded dragon, 5 hens, 2 dogs and a horse which have all played a massive part in keeping me and my family sane during lockdown, so I am very excited to hear about all your pets too. Or maybe even wild animals like the birds in your garden which have played an important part in your life.
