Story
Every year Prestbury's elves take Santa on a very special tour with the help (and transport) of Tom at TDH Builders (well, the reindeers only have magic to fly on Christmas Eve, and snow is never guaranteed in this country to use the sledge!). This is Tom's very last year as our special sponsor and so we are making it a big one, with even MORE lights and MORE ELVES, PLUS our very own on board DJ Rudolf sending out some banging Christmas tunes!!!!
For the last 9 years Santa has had the most amazing support from families around Prestbury, coming out to watch him 'fly' by, and catch a snow ball or two!!!! This year he is back retracing his steps through Prestbury, then a wave to everyone in Whaddon before making his way back across Prestbury and over to Gotherington via the wonderful Woodmancote. For the second time he will be taking a final fly over through the bright lights of Bishops Cleeve where we've added in an extra 'CRUISE' on Two Hedges Rd to catch those late night wavers who we regretfully we flew by a bit too fast last time!
Santa is always blown away by the number of smiling faces on his route and he's hoping that with last week's super cold snap out of the way, you will brave it out to give him a wave!!
THIS YEAR, we are heading out on Wednesday 21st December and will be loading up with EVEN MORE ELVES so look out for our 'CRUISE' spots on the route and please bring along any coins for our charity, the wonder James Hopkins Trust - the elves do love to jingle! Of course you can make your donation on our justgiving page here and just enjoy seeing Father Christmas and our flurry of snow as we come past!!
The James Hopkins Trust do such amazing work to help families all across Gloucestershire, providing care and support for families and their young children who are life limited or life threatened. Some parents will know their baby has a condition that will cause severe disability or shorten their life before they are born, other babies will be diagnosed soon after birth or in early childhood. Often no-one can tell you how long your child will live, only that they need constant care. James Hopkins Trust exists to help these children and their families. It really is the most wonderful charity and we would love your help to make a real difference to the amazing people who run it and to the families for whom it is so special.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for your donations, however big or small, it is so very appreciated.
Please consider yourselves ALL to be on the good list this year!
Wishing you all a truly wonderful Christmas, you deserve it.
love from Santa's Prestbury Elves xxx
