Story
A little bit of fun and silliness for something really important...
David Bunker & Sean Thompson (ex-school friends) have undertaken a 30 day press-ups challenge. We started off at 30 press-ups on day 1 and then each day thereafter are upping it by two. So day 2 we did 32, day 3 was 34 and today, day 4, we completed 36 press-ups. By the time we get to the last week of the challenge we will be attempting to do 78+ press-ups a day! We started the challenge to raise awareness for mental health and well-being.
However, we thought why don't we see if we can raise a little money at the same time. We have chosen a charity called ICARUS as they provide treatment for our serving and ex-uniformed service personnel from the police, fire service, prison service, NHS, military and their families.
They help people with post traumatic stress, insomnia, flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety & panic attacks, addictions, depression, isolation & loneliness, etc.
A great charity to support at any time but more so during these extraordinary circumstances and the unprecedented challenges they all have to deal with.
Please donate as much as you can afford... just £1 will be another £1 towards our target!
