Story
You may or may not have been affected by Covid-19, however there are people of all ages who have lost their fight to this wicked disease. Either way, this an opportunity for the community to do something truly amazing, that collectively impacts all of us in some way or another.
The 100km Challenge can be RAN, or even simply WALKED!
We have the full 31 days of May to complete this.
If you'd like to CYCLE it, then you'll need to complete 250km!
If you'd like to take part, contact me at matthew.stevenson@practicus.com and I will add you to our WhatsApp group to share our successes along the way. This is for a great cause so I hope you can take this challenge on with me and the team at Practicus.
I'd recommend downloading the Nike Run App where it can easily track where you walk, run or cycle, keeping a running total throughout the month. There is a 'May 100k Challenge' you can also select.
I've locally selected the Berkshire Healthcare Charity as they urgently need the support having been severely impacted by Covid-19, losing many patients but also their clinical staff to this silent killer.
At Berkshire Healthcare, they're working around the clock to support our patients and fight COVID-19. They have over 4,500 staff working in the local community and across more than 100 sites, including community hospitals, health centres, our mental health hospital and directly in peoples homes. During this difficult time, they need our support more than ever to carry on protecting the staff, the patients and the wider community.
