Martin's Port to Port Challenge

The SML Port to Port Challenge: Saint Malo to Cherbourg · 6 November 2012
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Together with a group of colleagues from the School of Modern Languages (University of Bristol), I will be taking on a charity bike ride in July 2013 in order to raise funds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Setting out from the Breton port of Saint Malo on the 4th July, we will head up the Cherbourg peninsula to enable us to return to Portsmouth via Cherbourg on the 6th, and taking in some of the route of this year’s Tour de France. The total distance to be covered is approximately 170 miles and we anticipate covering 50-60 miles a day. (If we don't, we miss our ferry back!)
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
We've chosen Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research as most people know someone who has had to face the battle against a blood cancer at one time or another. The money you donate through this site will help them in their battle against these diseases.
So please dig deep and donate now.
