Remember our lovely wee Mummy Phyllis

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Philomena McDaniel was born on 3rd November 1933. Phyllis met the love of her life Hilary McDaniel in her 20’s. They were very happy together and celebrated 50 years of marriage and loved their two children HM and Fiona so very dearly. Phyllis was always smiling and loved being around people. She loved her community. Everyone was welcome in their home and loved spending time with her. Phyllis was not without health issues. TB in early life and then renal failure and myeloma in her later life for many years. She was a battler - a real believer in moving forward and overcoming adversity. She loved the people who cared for her deeply. The Nurses and the team at the Renal Unit at the Belfast City Hospital became part of her family. She even earlier this year beat Covid -19. At 86 she out survived her love Hilary by 11 months and just couldn’t bear to live without him any more. She has now left us but was loved by everyone. Kind to everyone. Full of life. Her loss is felt greatly by her family and friends. In her memory we have set up a Just Giving Page for the Renal Unit at the City Hospital Belfast.
