Story
Children in this country are facing multiple problems that are leaving them overwhelmed. They feel alone, unloved and don’t know where to turn. By supporting The Children’s Society, you’re helping these children get the help they urgently need. Our supporters around the country fund our services, volunteer with us, and join our campaigns to show children and young people they are on their side. Together we make a real and positive difference to the lives of children in this country. With your support we can change the lives of even more.
Our quiz in aid of the Children's Society will be held in St Barnabas Parish Hall, Dulwich Village SE21 7BT on Saturday 7 March at 7 for 7:30pm. This is always a fun evening and our quiz will be set this year by the University of the Third Age team who won last year.
We don't ticket the event. Instead we suggest a donation of £12 per head. If you don't have that kind of money, give what you can and come along anyway. Youngsters (by which I mean anyone under 30! as well as teenagers) especially welcome. There will be a pay bar. Food operates on a bring and share basis - finger food only please! You can come as a table of 8, or as a smaller group or as individuals and I will put you together with others. I would very much appreciate help behind the scenes as well - kitchen, bar, etc. Please contact Philip Wedmore on 077 8573 6350 or
