London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

As a Welsh charity we rely on donations from the public to carry out our lifesaving work. We support local communities across Wales. By supporting us, you be can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. Our mission is to provide first aid training for everyone, anytime, anywhere.

Story

Together we can reduce the number of people who die unnecessarily.

St John Cymru Wales needs our help to fulfil their vision of a first aider in every home in Wales.

For 100 years St John Cymru Wales has been a the heart of the communities across Wales, providing lifesaving first aid training, caring for those in need and building life saving skills with their young members.

Every pound of profit they generate, is gift aided back to the charity to fund their voluntary work in the local community.

Running the London Marathon will be a massive test for me, as I am not a natural runner!

I completed the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2017, but a full 26.2 miles is another level.

I am making the effort to help St John as I believe in the great work they do.

I have been first aid trained by St John Cymru Wales and feel ready to help if called on.

If St John can train more people to fulfil their vision, think of the lives that we all could save!

You never know when you might need help, so please donate what you can and help save a life!

Thank you,

Philip.
