Story
After hearing my sister in law and her friend, Sarah and Karen, telling me they were doing the KiltWalk in Aberdeen on 1 June this year, I decided to join them.
The KiltWalk Aberdeen 2014 is a 26 mile walk which starts off in the Duthie Park and takes in Peterculter, Crathes, Banchory, Blackhall Forest and Potarch.
It is a unique Scottish charity that brings together some of the nation's best-loved children's charities, including Cash for Kids, CHAS and CLIC Sargent, and their aim is to become Scotland's best known and most loved fundraising event for disadvantaged children.
There's not much more to it than that folks! Any sponsorship money would be gratefully received and I'm sure would be greatly appreciated by the KiltWalk and its associated charities.
Best go and see if I can still fit into my kilt...
