I am running the Great North Run in memory of my dad George who passed away 5 years ago in September. My dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer which spread to his lungs. My dad was my best friend and to help me deal with his death I started running. By doing the great north run and raising money I can say thank you to all those who people that helped him.  My son Joe is also doing the junior great north run this year.
